Who We Are

RefleXion is developing the SCINTIX™ biology-guided radiotherapy* machine that is the first to utilize the cancer’s biology itself to control radiation delivery, even in tumors that are moving. By using positron emission tomography (PET), RefleXion’s platform enables a leap forward in the ongoing goal of conventional radiotherapy to manage motion, and potentially diminish radiation toxicity, making it feasible to one day provide more options for patients with advanced stage cancer.  

Currently, the RefleXion X1 machine is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the delivery of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).

About This Role

The Director of Sales is responsible for generating sales across the Region by interacting and negotiating with potential customers in the Oncology community. Provide ongoing management of customers and developing leads for new opportunities. The Director of Sales will act as the lead on all potential orders within the assigned territory. This will include managing transactions within the Company’s Sales Policies as well as assuring that the attainment of regional order, revenue and product targets are achieved.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain a strategic plan for the assigned territory: Targeted customer/opportunity list, manage sales interactions, accurately execute regular forecasts & booking activities while actively promoting, presenting and demonstrating company solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Identify critical customer decision makers, trends, and assess business implications for the existing clinical practice. Strategically stimulate and grow the market by engaging early and continuously in the sales cycle by acting as a resource for the market.
  • Provide onsite and offsite product/sales presentations, assists in product sales training, trade shows, exhibits and seminars, as applicable
  • Lead & coordinate proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings and demonstrating equipment capabilities across the product portfolio with relevant Product Specialists and other support staff
  • Promote Service offerings to identify and escalate service needs to drive customer loyalty
  • Meet or exceed order goals
  • Facilitate communication as necessary between the customer and order management, contracting, accounting and marketing questions to maintain impactful relationships
  • Ensure a high level of commercial, clinical, and technical skills and knowledge is maintained to promote current and future RefleXion products
  • Document ALL activity in the CLM in a timely and accurate manner to support pipeline development and forecast reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Where You Will Do This Job  

  • Remote - This position will allow the successful candidate to work a primarily remote schedule. They must be based in the US and may be required to come into the RefleXion office in Hayward for meetings and other events as needed.

What We Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years direct related experience in Industry Sales
  • High level of presentation skills required
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Customer centric with the ability to adjust plans and actions to meet changing market and/or customer needs
  • Ability to drive customer partnership, revenue growth and retention

The pay range for this role is $250,000-$350,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
