Be with the Industry Innovation Leader
We are currently seeking a Director of Distribution Sales-US to join our dynamic Air Solutions team. This is a home office-based role Preferred location would include Alpharetta Ga, or any city supported by a major airport.
In this capacity, you will lead the distribution sales team responsible for growing LG's Air Conditioning Technologies residential/light commercial market share with specified Key/National/Regional Distributors.
Specifically you will:
• Leverage your business and technical acumen in order to understand the customer's business, provide industry input in order to develop the LG value proposition across all market segments
• Establish and foster team relationships to ensure a superior customer experience
• Cultivate large initiatives of both a complex and strategic importance
• Achieve and/or exceed sales quotas by leading the sales organization and leverage business activities from other internal functions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including functional experts/subject matter experts, energy, operational, engineering, technical, financial, and legal support when necessary on all aspects of strategy, planning, developing, executing and growing LG's business
• Develop a strong strategic grasp of the market in order to provide an actionable competitor intelligence to the team on a regular basis
• Partner with marketing managers to develop specific roadmaps
• Provide new and creative ideas to grow distributor preference for LG products which will in turn lead to increased market share and sales results
• Develop market analytics and timely performance metrics to sales management
• Represent LG at industry events building on our brand reputation to deepen existing relationships while building new ones
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA desirable.
• Ten years of progressive responsibility in sales Leadership in the management, with a proven track record of providing strategic leadership to large multi-channel organizations through matrix environments.
• Significant expertise in the Distribution Channel of the Air Conditioning industry with preferred experience in the inverter space
• Measurable experience in the Applied commercial segment of the HVAC industry with experience in VRF Applied solutions
• Track record of leading large sales teams (20 team members) including, team building, talent development and servant leadership.
• Strong relationship builder
• Outstanding communications skills
• Strong capabilities in MS Office (excel, word, power point), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows environment.
• Solid business acumen and thought leadership in sales, marketing, operations, finance and account P&L.
