If you are looking to be part of something profound and build something special, BetterCloud is for you.  We're expanding our sales team and looking for a Director of Sales to join our rapidly growing team. 

What You'll Do

  • Act as coach, mentor and educator to the 5-8 Account Executives under your charge
  • Hire, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by winning new customers in the commercial (150-749 employees size) segment
  • Coach to and participate actively in the sales process, our Business Value Selling approach within the context of the Command of the Sale model
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Business Development, Solution Engineer, Partner, Professional Services, executives, etc. to devise and execute winning account strategies 
  • Stay well educated and informed as to the SaaSOps industry, BetterCloud competitive landscape and how to sell the value of our solutions and services when compared to the relevant competitors in the SaaS Management market space
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) for sales team

About You 

  • Experience as a successful Sales Manager with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in continuous, multiple years
  • 5+ years direct SaaS sales experience
  • Successful experience selling to commercial accounts (150-749 employees size)  
  • Ability to recruit and hire top talent
  • Excellent communicator; strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, effective at delivering executive level presentations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers across functions including the Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, Solution Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success and Product Development
  • Experience with Command of the Sale, MEDDPICC and Value Selling
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude

Salary: 

Salary Range: $270,000 - $300,000 OTE 

This salary range represents BetterCloud’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud’s business and other operational considerations.
