Our EVoChargeยฎ business unit is an industry pioneer and leader in the Electric Vehicle (EV) charging market. SUMMARY:

Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the selling function to achieve sales orders, revenue and profits consistent with EvoCharge business unit growth objectives.

RESPONSIBIITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Establishes the plan for bookings and sold margin and delivers to those plans. Develops and executes annual sales plans, and identifies annual initiatives and programs to support business strategies. Monitors sales activity to ensure progress against the plan and takes corrective action throughout the year to achieve volume and growth objectives. Forecasts future business for each fiscal year, and updates the forecast periodically, as required. Uses and promotes the use of CRM and other financial tools to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Uses CRM on a daily basis for all lead, contact, activity, forecasting, account management and time management monitoring, recording and reporting functions.
  • Oversees and monitors the use and effectiveness of the pursuit cycle process.
  • Manages commercial terms and conditions, including long term contracts to align with desired business outcomes. Reviews metrics and results on a regular basis to identify trends and/or potential problem areas.
  • Plans, organizes, staffs, and develops a selling organization capable of achieving the appropriate coverage to meet market penetration, customer service and volume targets consistent with business plans and objectives. Ensures sales opportunities are handled through the most efficient sales channel.
  • Defines and implements processes to effectively develop, maintain and manage customer relationships. Creates strong, long-term relationships with new and existing key channel partners, including network service providers, national supply houses, retailers, electric utility and government decision makers, as well as business affiliates and engage them in discussions about their needs and solutions offered by the company.
  • Identifies and develops opportunities in new business accounts, serving as the primary field account executive. Actively participates in, or directly handles, the negotiation and closing of significant orders when necessary. Leads or supports the teams in responding to complex RFIs and RFQs ensuring proposals meet customer needs and clearly present EVOCHARGE's value propositions.
  • Implements sales promotions to ensure desired growth in accordance with business plans and objectives. Collaborates with marketing and operations to provide insight on current and future product offerings and programs.
  • Represents the company at high level business discussions.
  • Establishes annual operating budget and manages against that budget.
  • Responsible for the on-going management and development of assigned employees through coaching and training to produce a high-performing organization. Determines staffing and skill requirements to meet organization needs and implements plans to satisfy those requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree in engineering/technical discipline or equivalent work experience; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years in Sales including 3 years prior supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, train, coach and develop top performing sales professionals.
  • Sought after for sales coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, target and convert strategic competitor's accounts to PTI.
