The team you will be a part of
The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.
The Federal team is looking for a technical sales leader with extensive sales, military, government, security, and industry experience. You will develop a strategy and build a team for Nokia to grow business with the US Federal Government, including Defense, National Security, Federal Agencies, Defense Industrial Base and associated partners. You will lead the creation and development of programs to increase sales funnel in close cooperation with marketing and the BGs.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of the team, you will:
- Create and manage the business strategy within the team.
- Manage relationships within the team, the partner community, and foreign governments.
- Develop and implement a multi-year business plan for the Government verticals.
- Lead Account Managers & Partner Team to develop a sales pipeline and convert that pipeline to revenue.
- Work closely with the Federal CTO / SE Team and BGs to develop the appropriate solutions for the space.
Note: Due to the requirements of the National Security Agency, only US Citizens with Top Secret clearance or the ability to rapidly achieve this clearance are eligible for this position.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, business or a related field is required.
- At least 10 years direct sales, technical sales, sales management experience in IP/Optical/Wireless market.
- Proven track record selling into complex sales environments in the IP/Optical/Wireless market.
- Demonstrated sales skills with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Proficient Technical background with a focus on IP and/or optical technologies.
- Understanding of customer's organization and established relationships with key stakeholders.
- Success in developing and maintaining key customer relationships to properly position solutions and win new business.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record on successful selling to multiple US Federal Government agencies and/or worked in US Federal Government Agency
