Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Director of Sales Operations will be responsible for supporting the Commercial team in achieving key business objectives through the management and coordination of business-critical work streams and events.  The Senior Director of Sales Operations will lead all aspects of Sales Operations including territory alignments, targeting, call planning, sales force automation/customer relationship management (SFA/CRM), field sales reporting and analysis, and incentive compensation. 

This individual will work closely with Field Leadership on strategic planning efforts in order to optimize field effectiveness and develop insights for strategic and tactical decisions.

Specific Duties:

  • Direct all aspects of sales force optimization planning and communication, including territory alignments, targeting and call plans.
  • Design, plan, communicate and administer incentive compensation plans to motivate Field Sales and align with Braeburn’s purpose.
  • Collaborate with Business Insights & Analytics team to support development of an innovative reporting environment to drive insights and strategic decision making.
  • Develop effective communications with leadership, internal stakeholders, matrix partners and field personnel, including the deployment of planning initiatives and responding to field inquiries.
  • Provide strategic analysis on promotional efforts and performance and provide recommendations for greater field effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the development, management, and auditing for the CRM system for Field Force reporting and communications.
  • Work with Field Leadership to design, implement and track field-driven innovation programs.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, planning and operational skills.
  • Strong Access, Excel, VBA, and Power Point skills. Knowledge of SQL is a preferred.

  • Demonstrated passion and empathy for improving Addiction/Mental health patient care.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required, Advanced Business Degree a plus.
  • 12+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales Operations, Sales Planning, Sales Administration, Pharmaceutical Marketing, or similar experience in a Corporate or Line of Business function.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Market Access, Market Analytics, and Compliance.
  • Experience leading multiple functional areas within Sales Operations, including Incentive Compensation, Sales Planning and Analytics and Sales Reporting.
  • Experience with Buy & Bill and Specialty Pharmacy Distribution Models, Injectables, HUB services.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical syndicated data, i.e., IMS Health, Symphony Health, Specialty Pharmacies.
  • Strong technical understanding of pharmaceutical data, data design and processing and database relationships and interdependencies.
