Your Mission

As a Director of Sales at SADA, you will lead a senior sales team to facilitate and reinforce relationships with the C-Suite to offer Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace, and SADA’s best-in-class professional services. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing a strategic sales territory plan, mentoring the sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management, preferably in the cloud-native or technology services industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of solutions and services to clients

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities

  • Provide extensive sales forecast and pipeline insights to the executive leadership team

  • Maintain a strong relationship with customer executives and key partners

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how SADA Professional Services & Google Cloud Platform address business problems for customers

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders

In This Role, You Will

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined region.

  • Articulate and implement strategic territory and account plans aligned with SADA’s strategic direction.

  • Identify specific prospects/partners/channels to approach while communicating a relevant value proposition for your customer.

  • Work closely with customers to ensure that they understand relevant cloud use cases, are successful using SADA services, and are able to build the technical resources required to fully embrace cloud services.

  • Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.

  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers.

  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding quarterly and yearly strategies that align with revenue growth expectations.

  • Accelerate customer adoption and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Influence consumption business models and associated metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of applicable experience, with at least three years in a leadership role

  • Closed at least five seven-figure contracts with new accounts

  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals

  • Ability to speak deeply about GCP, Google Workspace, and services

  • Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables, and price

  • Experience developing sales proposals

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a sales team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and articulate business needs and requirements

  • You will establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the customer’s goals and environment. 

Expectations

Onboarding/Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

Sales Excellence 

Territory and Account Leadership - Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles. 

Strategy- Develop effective and specific strategic account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth

Set vision and strategy for the sales team

Conduct account and opportunity reviews with leadership

Account Strategy

Ensure account teams and Googlers are well-versed in each account’s strategy and well-positioned for all customer touchpoints and events

Build a network of executive relationships with internal stakeholders

Build a foundation on which to harvest future business opportunities and accurate account information and coaching

Develop and deliver comprehensive business plan to address customers and prospects' priorities and pain points 

Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling pipeline. 

Leverage SADA Solutions and Services to innovate throughout the customer journey

Maintain a close understanding and appreciation of competitive solutions and support the team in competitive situations

Required Credentials:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

The base salary pay range for this position is $145,000 to $200,000 with commission and accelerators in addition. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
