Director of Sales (Work from home) - MDLIVE
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
- High proficiency explaining the MDLIVE technology and demonstrating the product
- Understand competitor's environment and how we differentiate our solutions
- Able to sell technology solutions that can average from $250,000 to $3M per contract
- Very knowledgeable about the healthcare landscape, including health plans, health systems, physician work-flow and technology integrations
- Continue to grow and become an expert on the telehealth/telemedicine environment and work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Create and manage a pipeline to manage the sales process and drive to closure of health system or health plan opportunities to meet or exceed a specific revenue quota for the fiscal year
- Create a strategic sales plan, identify new sales opportunities, and close new business sales in a defined territory
- Ability to speak and present to client's "C-suite" a strategic vision that is customized to the client's needs
- Manage a continuous forecast through Salesforce.com using the MDLIVE Salesforce procedures and forecasting process
- Manage prospects through phone calls, webcasts and travel. Present sales presentations to ensure fiscal responsibility to the organization and strong time management skills
- Able to accurately forecast in a complex sales process for contract signature and set appropriate expectations on install, time frames both internally and with the customer
- Work collaboratively within MDLIVE to provide feedback and input for future products and positioning
- Other duties as assigned
Required:
- Knowledge of healthcare landscape, including IT purchasing decisions, budget processes and reimbursements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- 5+ years of sales experience in health care, health plan sales experience preferred, representing no greater than 4 positions
- Knowledge of healthcare landscape, including IT purchasing decisions, budget processes and reimbursements
- Natural Challenger Sales style & has extensive experience supporting complex sales
- Excellent relationships in the healthcare market, selling into health plan experience preferred, and ability to leverage these relationships for sales opportunities
- Strong ability to manage a pipeline & control a deal through close
- Ability to negotiate contracts and terms, with the support of sales leadership and legal, through complicated contract process
- Excellent technology skills including; MS Office, Skype ®, Vsee ®, Salesforce and other technology tools
- Orientation and philosophical leaning toward wellness and wellbeing
- Excellent communication skills including value selling, communicating the ROI of a product or service, compelling writing skills, and strong ongoing messaging and follow up,
- Strong follow through skills, sees a deal through to the end
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage several deals closing in the same quarter
- Superior presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated trend of increasing sales through outstanding sales results and leadership
- Ability to sell new solutions in a changing market, such as telehealth solutions
- Ability to work remotely as a field-based employee
- Documented operator in health systems or health plans
- Must be able to fly on a plane and drive a care
- Must have a valid driver's license
Travel Requirements:
- Up to ~65% Air, automobile travel
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
