THE POSITION

We are seeking an experience and highly motivated Director of Content Operations to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic and fast-paced world of immersive entertainment. We are building a new function for our direct to consumer Cosm Venues business with content scheduling and operations infrastructure and need your passion and skills to support our upcoming Cosm Venue experiences.

REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, Planning & Operations

LOCATION: LA or NY-

For CA and NY-based applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $165,000-$175,000

THE PERSON

The successful candidate will be both passionate about the customer experience and experienced in Content Operations. They will be versatile, a self-starter, highly collaborative across the organization, and have a customer-centric mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design new Content Scheduling & Operations function from inception that supports our Cosm Venues goals
  • Lead end-to-end process execution of the new Content Scheduling & Operations function across internal and external partners
  • Develop best practice procedures for scheduling events and programs that align to content licensing deals
  • Define and implement all policies, guidelines and processes for content operations from delivery, file and data organization, quality assurance, to final publishing to consumer facing endpoints
  • Be a key partner in supporting Cosm Media with essential scheduling data and insights, in collaboration with Analytics and Research teams, to drive content scheduling strategy decisions
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Corporate and Venue Operations, Content, Marketing, and Product to define processes for content delivery, QA and publishing
  • Continue to optimize and develop established processes to improve efficiency and end customer experience; partnering with Product for advanced functionality requirements
  • Create training programs to onboard Content Operations team members, both permanent and temporary for high-volume requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree and specialization in Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Content Operations functions, including experience in the entertainment or media industry, with brick and mortar stores and venues experience as a plus
  • Experience and deep understanding of best-in-class tools and resources in the field
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to design clear plans and workflows, and execute accordingly
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across business functions like operations and product
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for delivering high-quality content to customers
