We are looking for Director of Solutions Marketing to innovate, win and grow with us! We’re seeking a high-energy, experienced marketing expert to help drive growth for our Digital Banking segment. Part ABM strategist, part product marketing guru, and part wordsmith, this role will empower you to work hand-in-hand with a hard-charging (and award-winning!) cross-functional team of marketing experts, product managers, sales specialists and business executives. The ideal candidate will bring a savvy combination of go-to-market strategy, marketing expertise, and creativity to a highly targeted market of top-tier banks.


How you’ll contribute:

  • Partner with LOB executives to develop and execute the Marketing plan for Digital Banking solutions
  • Work closely with the product development team to support world-class solution launches, ensuring that the product offering is designed and positioned to meet the needs of target customers and generates optimal go-to-market results
  • Deeply understand ICPs, buyer personas, prospect pain points to develop valuable and engaging content that drives response and engagement.
  • Lead marketing development of new sales enablement materials to enhance the performance of the sales organization, while also updating existing materials on a regular basis. Own management of the sales enablement content library.
  • Work closely, and in shared responsibility, with our Marketing Programs and Marketing Analytics groups to track the right metrics across campaigns (creative, content, channels etc.) to inform future refinement for continuously improving results.
  • Partner with the Marketing Programs group to create demand generation campaigns to drive leads for our Digital Banking solutions — while also aligning closely with Enterprise Sales and Account Managers, to identify, plan and execute adoption & expansion opportunities for named accounts
  • Outline and keep team informed of product timelines, enhancements, and changes in product strategy
  • Create compelling Marketing content and ensure that the content strategy for Digital Banking solutions is being executed with excellence and delivering the intended results across demand generation programs, account-specific campaigns, digital marketing programs, external communications programs and field sales enablement
  • Work with internal and external subject matters experts to establish the creation of public relations and thought leadership positioning and content to raise market awareness of Bottomline in the Digital Banking space
  • Analyze customer marketplace, company, firmographic, technographic, and intent data to inform a strategy to engage and support the customer

 

What will make you successful:

  • Plan, design, and execute Marketing plans to drive customer interest and demand within selected target accounts and ideal customer profiles
  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning platforms that articulate the business value of our Digital Banking solutions to our target customers and prospects
  • Drive a content strategy that will create demand and support our go-to-market initiatives across a multitude of channels, including digital and sales-led programs
  • Oversee product launches and successfully bring new products to market
  • 7-10 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced B2B technology organization – Global experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and support sales in B2B markets
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment, accessing, directing and motivating functional experts
  • Track record of excelling in an environment that values a high degree of accountability
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on commitments
  • A history of driving change and innovation, with the ability to not only identify areas of improvement but have a proven track record of creating executional plans that can scale to drive business impact
  • Deeply customer-centric with an understanding of target audiences
  • Writing and presentation skills to translate detailed content into impactful go-to-market materials including web, email, and social content
