Job Description

Sock Club is looking for a dynamic and driven Director of Strategic Accounts who can take our team to new heights. As a visionary leader, the ideal candidate will help devise and execute initiatives to increase opportunities with our key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute strategic account plans, collaborating with teams across the organization to maximize account revenue
  • Lead, coach, and train a team of Account Managers and Account Executives
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with strategic partners
  • Monitor and report on account performance, lead pipeline, and conversion trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to senior leadership
  • Participate in sales forecasting, budgeting, and account planning processes
  • Provide goals, leadership, and guidance on external engagement strategy and drive internal engagement strategy on sustainability with employees
  • Ongoing hiring, mentoring and development of Account Managers which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new members
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable, and predictable process for running and growing the team

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years years of leadership experience in Sales, Strategic Partnerships, or Account Management, with a proven track record of success in managing high-value accounts
  • Experience coaching and scaling Sales teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make critical data driven decisions
  • Strong understanding of difference between Type 1 & 2 decisions, and how to approach each
  • Strategic thinker and tactical executor able to shift from big picture to detailed operations on a dime.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance; comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment.
  • A strong track record of building and scaling business/managing partners with varying size/scale/needs
  • Demonstrated experience in driving results through cross-team collaboration
  • Previous B2B experience is a plus!
