Director of Strategic Finance and Operations

Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we’re looking for a Director of Strategic Finance and Operations to join our team.

The Director of Strategic Finance and Operations will drive initiatives, own strategic planning across operations, and enable best-in-class clinic performance. You will support in business case development, resource allocation, priority management, and ultimately drive the implementation of needle-moving initiatives. Examples of projects include: operating model improvements, GTM strategic plans, pricing optimization, and product extension launches.

You will have access to all levels of the organization, and are critical for positioning our team for growth in the coming months. This position is based in New York City.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, enhance, and execute on an operational plan, which includes in-clinic processes, technology, and performance management.
• Create and manage the strategic plan, overseeing initiatives and resource allocation
• Develop high standards for execution to meet all KPI’s & financial metrics while supporting the team in achieving daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals.
• Develop scalable operational plans for our growth across the country.
• Work across all operational teams to understand the fundamentals of operating each clinic to influence growth strategy.
• Identify performance opportunities and drive unit economics.
• Be a leader throughout the organization by mentoring and supporting team members throughout their Bond Vet careers. 
• Underpin a strong pet health and client experience by creating a strong foundation for our clients and our team. 

You Have:

• 7+ years experience across management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, paired with high-growth startup 
• Bachelor's degree in finance, MBA preferred
• Advanced financial modeling, analytical mindset, understanding of stakeholder communication and reporting
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives; strong project management skills to meet deadlines and gain adoption.
• Effective decision making and interpersonal skills; direct experience managing independent work streams.
