Responsible for developing and executing long and short-term strategic purchasing plans consistent with and supportive of company goals and objectives. Identify growth initiatives and support new product introductions. Support annual operating plan and develop strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal customers including Engineering, Production, and Operations. Facilitate change management with cross-functional teams and key contacts throughout the organization. Facilitate the collective team's ability to manage projects to specification and cost parameters on a timely basis. Lead implementation of complex sourcing strategies. Develop RFP's and negotiate new contracts. Develop supplier relationship management strategy with key suppliers and large ODMs with $1B+ revenues. Manage category and commodity team and strategies. Develop and build a strong integrated procurement team. Manage large spend ($300M+) and develop strategies to negotiate cost reductions. Develop cost analytics and should cost models. Manage procurement programs cost from concept to end of life. Understand contract terms and conditions and execute national and international contracts. Develop risk mitigation plans and identify and validate multiple supply sources. Support quality goals and achieve target PPM.

Education & Experience

Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration (Management focus), Finance, Engineering or related field. Ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in the field of business, supply chain systems, or supplier development. Pre- or post- Master's degree experience is acceptable. Experience must be post- Bachelor's degree. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration (Management focus), Finance, Engineering, or related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in the field of business, supply chain systems, or supplier development in lieu of a Master's degree or equivalent and ten (10) years of experience as described above. Experience must be post- Bachelor's degree.

Special Requirements

Seven (7) years of work experience to include: Experience utilizing 'Should cost' modeling; Process mapping and flow charts; 7-step problem solving methodology; 8D and root cause analysis; Financial accounting and management; Manufacturing technology and processes; and Contract negotiation skills and contracts management. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
