Director of Strategy
The Director of Strategy will develop EDH's strategic vision, roadmap and all resulting strategic partnerships, new concept development and M&A. This position reports to the VP of Strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Market Research: Drive market research to understand pain points for key audiences to inform strategic roadmap development and company thought leadership
- Strategic roadmap / vision: Based on research and market feedback establish key strategic areas of growth / product extensions. Develop EDH's vision and strategic roadmap
- Buy / Build / Partner Strategy: Develop relationships with and track key market players / targets. Conduct pre-deal / partnership diligence and market research. Assess opportunities and develop POV on strategy
- Key strategic partnerships that will drive outsized growth (Navigators, Primary Care, Consultants, Plans). Develop relationships with and track key market players / targets
- M&A: Develop partnerships and hand-off to commercial. Conduct diligence and manage the process. Develop and oversee post deal integration.
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree required : Business degree or related field preferred
- 3+ years' experience working in professional services such as: strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or similar environment - Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Growth strategy development: new products, new markets, increased utilization of existing products
- Strategy consulting, private equity or investment banking experience
- Market research and insight development
- Buy / build / partner evaluations
- Startup / High Growth business: 2+ years working in a high-growth environment where you had to build processes and systems
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Smart, humble, driven, and a team player
- Big picture thinking but comfort with the detail
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Synthesis of lots of information and data into a simple solution / path forward
- Strong relationship development / interpersonal skills

LOCATION: Remote Hybrid - if not in Dallas, willing to travel 25% of time
