Job Description

The Director of Strategy Execution will work on organizing and executing complex business strategy and opportunities, while supporting and assisting other leaders, especially the SVP, Head of Real-World Data Product Strategy, to build a new Real-World Data /Evidence Product business within Labcorp. The Real-World Data Products group will focus on the development of data products, applications and analytical tools to support two core areas, 1) Clinical Trial Enabling Services, including patient identification, recruitment and engagement capabilities and 2) Real-World Data, Evidence and Insights related to patient disease, the risk of future diagnosis, effectiveness of existing treatments, as well as therapeutic product development and effectiveness. The Director of Strategy Execution will partner with the SVP and play an important leadership role in delivering Labcorp's RWD/E product development and commercialization.

Business & Strategy Partner:

  • Facilitate the annual strategic planning process by partnering with senior leaders for the development of annual roadmaps, goals, objectives and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with and provide structure and support for senior leaders to identify, prioritize, steer and implement essential initiatives and workstreams.
  • Provides analytical and specialized support to assist SVP, RWD Product Strategy, other leaders and managers with complex details and advanced departmental duties.
  • Will engage with the broader enterprise to establish stakeholder management connections and consistencies in best practices, initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Facilitate team meetings, reviews, business initiatives and F2F meetings as appropriate.
  • Manage a monthly and quarterly communication plan through collaboration with individual leaders.
  • A key contributor in the development and oversight of communication and employee engagement strategies, content development, messaging development and execution.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a, business, healthcare or related field (or equivalent work experience); Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, stakeholder management and/or new product development with real-world data/evidence or other healthcare data products.
  • Interest or experience (preferred) in healthcare data offerings, including trial design and patient recruitment solutions, RWE offerings, healthcare SaaS innovations, clinical decision support offerings, etc.
  • Interest or experience (preferred) in data analytics and the use of AI in developing key data insights.
  • Comfortable in managing and maneuvering ambiguity within Labcorp or other large organizations to build out new product offerings.
  • Experience with contributing to strategic development and leading execution of strategy
  • Prior experience leading through influence
  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills
  • Notable experience building PPT presentations, facilitating multi-stakeholder meetings (agenda prep and meeting minutes circulation), and drafting external-facing deliverables
  • Ability to work to deadlines and problem-solve
  • Strong analytical, time management and interpersonal skills
