We are looking for a Director of Supply Chain who can be a pivotal player in the manufacturing and logistics planning process. You will help identify problems as they develop and help to oversee the team projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
  • Own the process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment, and delivery, and returns on products.
  • Oversee and manage MRP and purchasing requirements.
  • Oversee supply chain's use of ERP system.
  • Lead, inspire and direct your team.
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the manufacturing logistics perspective.
  • Coordinate projects within team and cross-functional teams and oversee of those projects.
  • Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds to identify problems and find solutions.
  • Create strategies by analyzing information and processes and present your findings.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing and logistics.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
  • Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
  • Understanding of accounting or finance as it relates to inventory management.
  • Must be able to comprehend legal documents.
  • Strong communication skills and the desire to build lasting relationships with people all over the world.
  • International experience a plus.
