Compensation:
The compensation for this full-time position in the US is $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 + discretionary bonus. The range may vary based on factors such as location, job-related skills, experience, and education. Benefits are available to all full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week. Please note that the compensation information listed in job postings only includes the base salary, and does not include bonuses or benefits.

Job Summary
The Director of Sustainability will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company's overall business strategy, with a specific focus on the company's international supply chain operations throughout the Asia region. This includes responsibility for identifying, assessing and mitigating environmental and social risks and opportunities associated with the company's operations and supply chain, from cotton farms to fabric mills to factories to shipping. The Director of Sustainability will play a key role in advancing the company's sustainability goals, driving innovation and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company's overall business strategy, with a specific focus on the company's international supply chain operations throughout the Asia region.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations, including product design and development, supply chain management, and corporate operations.
- Identify and assess environmental and social risks and opportunities associated with the company's operations and supply chain, specifically within the context of international supply chain operations.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to establish and implement sustainability programs and initiatives, including suppliers and other stakeholders throughout the Asia region.
- Develop sustainability metrics and reporting systems to track progress and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the development and implementation of sustainability-related policies and programs, with a specific focus on international supply chain operations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in sustainability, and recommend changes to the company's sustainability strategy as appropriate, particularly with regard to international supply chain operations.
- Act as a sustainability subject matter expert, both internally and externally, and represent the company on sustainability-related matters, with a specific focus on international supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental studies, business administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field, with a specific focus on international supply chain operations in the apparel industry, including extensive experience with suppliers throughout the Asia region.
- Proven experience developing and implementing sustainability strategies and programs, specifically within the context of international supply chain operations.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders in a global context.
- Excellent understanding of sustainability-related regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly as they pertain to international supply chains in the apparel industry.
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with suppliers and other stakeholders throughout the Asia region.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically, with a track record of successfully navigating complex international supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address sustainability-related challenges within the supply chain.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact, with a proven track record of driving sustainability initiatives within a global context.
