About the Job

As our Director of Systems Administration, you will lead a team and function responsible for developing and maintaining Redesign Health’s core business technology systems including our company intranet, customer relationship management, project management, ticketing, and pipeline management systems. You will serve as both a leader and strategist and help inform our Technology roadmap, ensure the highest levels of customer service and support of/for our key company technology systems, as well as play a hands-on role in performing systems administration activities.

What you’ll do:
  • Manage the selection, implementation, and ongoing administration, maintenance and support of Redesign’s core Business technology platforms including Salesforce, JIRA, Coda, and others
  • Collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering and other functional team leadership, to ensure we're creating integrated solutions and avoiding duplication or tech sprawl across our technology solutions
  • Develop the strategic direction and help architect core cross-functional technology systems across the business with an eye towards scalability 
  • Reframe problems to help cross-functional teams gain new insight and build support for new technology systems that impact the business
  • Strategically apply technology-based solutions to key initiatives for the business
  • Implement technology solutions in partnership with Vendor Management, Technology Operations, and Product/Engineering teams with a rigorous, thoughtful, and contextual implementation process
  • Actively participate in recruitment efforts to grow a team of core system administrators
What you’ll need:
  • Background
    • 7-10 years of general technology experience; ability to use various software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Coda or Airtable, JIRA, Hubspot, and ZenDesk
      • 5+ years of experience in systems administration, architecture and support
      • 2+ years experience working within Salesforce administration, architecture, and support
      • 1-3 years experience leading a team of System Administrators
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion
      • With specific experience in following areas:
        • Implementing, managing, and supporting Salesforce implementations across multiple different business departments, multiple stakeholders, etc. 
        • Integration of third party add ons to Salesforce (such as Altvia) 
        • Software development within Salesforce (such as writing custom APEX code)
    • Experience with enterprise systems (such as Salesforce CRM, NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning, etc.)
    • Ability to strategically apply technology-based solutions to key initiatives for the business
  • Behavior Skills
