We've partnered with the world's largest retailer to develop our Alphabot® technology, currently being deployed at stores throughout North America.

We're hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition to manage and coordinate organization-wide efforts to ensure hiring goals are met to meet the needs of our high-growth startup. You'll be the lead on influencing talent strategy, optimizing the recruiting process, and enabling the business to make the best hiring decisions. You'll manage the recruiting team, and partnering and managing the relationship with our third-party recruiting resources. You will monitor the full cycle of recruitment efforts, from sourcing qualified candidates to their hiring and onboarding. You'll also manage key partnerships and be a critical voice in building our company's brand as it relates to talent acquisition.

What You'll Work On:
  • Evolve and develop our Talent Acquisition strategy to support organizational and HR initiatives through analysis of key metrics, knowledge of labor market and HR trends
  • Develop strategy and execute on initiatives to build strong talent pipelines to satisfy our current as well as future hiring needs
  • Managing, training, and evaluating our recruiting team
  • Develop and lead strategy around creative sourcing
  • Managing our partnerships with alumni associations, colleges and job boards
  • Developing a network of referred candidates and past applicants for future hires, and managing the company's referral program.
  • Measuring recruitment metrics for monitoring performance (e.g., time-to-hire, source-of-hire etc.)
  • Participating in and hosting recruitment events both in-person and online to drive awareness of Alert Innovation
  • Make recommendations on and develop new initiatives around the candidate experience
  • Implementing offline as well as online employer branding initiatives
  • Work with Finance and People Operations to develop plans around future hiring based on critical business needs
  • Preparing, reviewing and monitoring our annual budget for recruitment


What We're Looking For:
  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with prior experience as a Head of Talent or Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Exceptional team-management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a dedicated team of recruiters
  • Experience managing employer branding initiatives and full cycle recruiting
  • Experience with a variety of applicant tracking systems, sourcing techniques/tools, and recruiting platforms to make recommendations on best practices
  • Experience or working knowledge of employment regulations; experience with immigration a plus
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with candidates as well as with internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to foster a TA team inclusive of creating opportunity, serving others, building trust, and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development/Behavior or related field
