THE ROLE: Director of Talent Acquisition

Job Summary:

The Director of Talent Acquisition will act as a talent strategist bring expertise to drive overall recruitment strategies and initiatives supportive of full-cycle recruitment. You will lead, coach and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team who are responsible for identifying, sourcing, and hiring at all levels while partnering with key stakeholders to understand business and talent priorities, and strategize recruiting activities to continue proactively attract talent and provide excellent candidate and internal customer experience, meeting diversity needs and driving our employee brand in the talent marketplace.

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for talent acquisition trend analysis and reporting of metrics. Also managing the projected recruiting pipeline, demand, and appropriately balance workload across the team. Effective communication will be key to maintain the employee value proposition and brand that will attract and retain a diverse, high performing workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Continue to build out a data-driven recruiting organization, leveraging the application tracking system to develop metrics and analytics that provide insights, drive decision-making and measure team productivity and program ROI.
  • Develop effective working relationships and partner with leaders at all levels of the organization to understand needs and provide consultation on talent acquisition strategies and challenges.
  • Support a diverse and inclusive culture and workforce, and ensure compliance with federal and state/country regulations, and Presidio policies.
  • Design, implement and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies including building a strong candidate pipeline of highly qualified and diverse talent.
  • Drive innovative recruitment strategies to support the needs of the business.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to a high performing team in our fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and executive leadership to assess talent acquisition performance and align on potential outcomes.
  • Build and execute on improvement strategies enhancing overall recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Manage strategy for the recruitment process including but not limited to sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and successful placement of signed candidates.
  • Partner and collaborate with operational leaders, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders to help the talent acquisition teams understand the business and prioritize.
  • Ensure the talent acquisition team consistently executes the defined process through effective training and performance measurement.
  • Develop and implement a social media recruitment presence.
  • Facilitate and develop training for hiring managers on interviewing best practices and process/tools.

Required Skills, Attributes and Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 15 + years of Corporate Recruiting experience, specifically within Technology and Sales.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven leadership experience in motivating and coaching staff and key stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in implementing effective diversity and competitive hiring practices that have increased diversity hiring.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruitment, pipeline, and brand strategies.
  • Ability to influence, lead with respect and compassion.
  • Strong planning, communication, organization, and time management skills necessary.
  • Proven leadership experience in motivating staff and key stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coach the business on role transparency and equal employment opportunity processes and regulations.
