Director of Technical Recruiting

We’re seeking a strategic and mission-driven Director of Technical Recruiting to continually drive our meteoric growth. This is a player/coach role where you will be responsible for managing a small team of technical recruiters as well as sourcing and hiring exceptional engineering, data, and product talent for Garner. As the crucial first impression for thousands of candidates, delivering a stellar candidate experience throughout is always top of mind. Working with the Head of Talent, you will also partner together to analyze and optimize processes and ensure we’re constantly improving how we hire. What you’ll do:Â
- Lead and mentor an initial team of 2-3 technical recruiters, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to deliver on hiring goals
- Partner with Head of Talent to define and execute plans to identify and drive productivity improvements through data-driven insights and analyticsÂ
- Drive full-cycle recruiting including sourcing capability and capacity to proactively build candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment of market-leading talent for Garner through offer and closing
- Influence and deliver quality assessment and high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand hiring needs, conduct intake meetings, and determine target profiles to set and drive sourcing strategies
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date process documentation and data integrity within our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) to enable meaningful reporting
What you need to be successful:
- 7+Â years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting
- 2+ years of managing technical recruiters
- Experience hiring talent in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a startup or digital health company
- Exceptional people skills and consultative approach to recruiting to foster deep relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Strong process designer, with the ability to execute operational process systematically with a keen eye for scalingÂ
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to concurrently manage a team as well as dozens of candidates across multiple requisitions without compromising the candidate experience
- Passion for diversity and inclusion recruiting and a desire to be a part of our mission to change the future of the U.S. healthcare system
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000 annually. This position is also bonus eligible. Compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.Â
