ClickUp is looking for a compensation and benefits leader. It’s important that this person has the versatility to operate both as a strategic leader and a hands-on builder, helping ClickUp create a total rewards foundation that will attract and retain the best talent while still meeting our financial goals. The person in this position will have a direct impact on strategy while managing global base pay structures, job leveling, bonus plans, employee benefits and overall total rewards.

The Role:
- Work with leadership to align compensation philosophy company-wide
- Ensure that compensation plans at ClickUp are well-benchmarked against industry standards and are competitive within the market
- Drive alignment with ClickUp’s leadership on where market adjustments will be implemented for existing employees whose compensation is not aligned to our compensation philosophy
- Collaborate with leaders across the world to determine what benefit programs are most valued in each country that ClickUp employs in, and which we believe we should invest in - we’re growing rapidly internationally!
- Work with leadership to develop programs for equity refreshes and bonuses
- Partner on critical recurring processes including, but not limited to, the year-end and mid-year merit and performance reviews
- Work closely with the rest of ClickUp’s People team to stay in tune with the job market and the existing employee base
- Collaborate with FP&A on a compensation strategy that leads to the best outcome for both ClickUp and its employees, and to ensure any changes are within budget
- Create and deliver presentations or other materials that drive clarity and alignment on proposals
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analytics, and provide strategic insights
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience in the tech industry with a deep understanding of compensation and best practices is required
- Familiar with a wide variety of rewards program components including base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, equity, benchmarking / market data, job family and level evaluation, and how these components may differ across the US, EMEA, and APAC
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in an environment with competing demands and ambiguity
- Experience partnering with executives and developing alignment through influence
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment, a high level of comfort with ambiguity, and an affinity for breaking down complex problems and developing solutions.
