Director- Tower & Small Cell Sales Support

The Director of Tower & Small Cell Sales Support Tower will function as a sales support subject matter expert and partner with various Boingo Venue, Carrier Sales and account management teams to expand Boingo’s Tower & Small Cell business. This individual will be responsible for driving Tower and Small Cell revenue across Boingo’s existing venue and military base footprint by working jointly with Boingo’s Carrier Sales organization (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Dish) as they work to increase Tower & Small Cell coverage and capacity across Boingo venue and military locations in the U.S. Most importantly, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of collaboration, teamwork, high performance, and innovation.
What the job entails:
- Partner with Boingo Tower site acquisition, operations, venue sales, and carrier sales teams to grow tower and small cell contracting efforts on Boingo venues and military bases
- be a relationship builder across wireless carriers and Boingo’s venue and military footprint
- work cross-functionally to support Boingo’s venue and carrier sales teams to identify, prospect, qualify and grow Tower and Small Cell revenue opportunities
- collaborate with various internal stakeholders including Tower operations, leasing, site acquisition, finance and legal
- be organized, a fast learner and possess strong business acumen
- be highly detail oriented with strong problem resolution skills
- be proficient in reading and interpreting contracts and legal documents
Got what it takes?
- 5-7 years’ experience working in the Wireless Tower business including by not limited to site acquisition, site development, and carrier leasing agreements
- Collaborator that can effectively work with and drive revenue growth with other organizations (venue sales, carrier sales, tower operations)
- Strong understanding of the wireless ecosystem, Tower & Small Cell infrastructure, site acquisition, and carrier lease agreements.
- Excellent communication & presentation capabilities (written and oral)
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the year domestically
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, marketing, or finance preferred--MBA or other advanced degree a plus
