Job Overview
PES is seeking Travel & Expense Leader to develop an effective and efficient Enterprise solution for governance and oversight of travel and expense policies, utilizing a best-in-class tool gathering data to proactively gain insights on opportunities for further efficiencies. This will be coupled with a focused effort on strategic partnerships with measurable benefits for Pretium and its operating companies.
What You’ll Do
- Map and document the “As-Is” processes, systems, and policies across the Pretium ecosystem
- Assess audit and approval protocols against existing policy
- Evaluate card strategy for consistency and buying power
- Evaluate booking agency relationship options and associated fees and service offering
- Develop consistent policy applications for operating companies to be validated
- Define the approval matrix that will be required to change the policy
- Communicate approach, changes, and benefits to the appropriate stakeholder groups
- Develop key strategic partnership relationships to determine a path forward for major segments of spend, with the evaluation of options and down select the one that serves best
- Partner with strategic external vendors to negotiate benefits in key travel segments (flights, cars, hotels – partnered with procurement)
- Establish metrics and common KPS, including measurable compliance and oversight
- Determine standard business travel and expense reporting to deliver to key business stakeholders
- Report on the existing system (Concur) performance data
Requirements
The successful candidate should possess extensive experience building and delivering Travel and Expense programs within a corporate structure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, or a related area
- Minimum of 7 years of Corporate Travel Management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry systems such as, but not limited to, systems agencies utilize in the delivery of services to their clients (i.e. GDS, online booking tools, reporting, etc.), and Meeting and Expenses solutions
- Analytical experience from the airline, hotel, and transportation industries, including contract management and negotiations.
- Significant experience in partnering with internal and external clients with building trust, impact, and influence
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and change management
- Candidates with experience in strategic partnership agreements and vendor management will be given priority (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Workday preferred and experience with Concur required
- Ability to set a vision, assess strategy and execute while bringing the stakeholder group along is the ideal candidate; a self-starter who is motivated to learn, grow enterprise capability and seize opportunities will excel in the environment

- Annual base salary range for this role is expected to be between $125,000 - $150,000
- Annual year-end bonus eligible
