Director of Treasury FGS Global

FGS Global, a leading global strategic communications advisory firm is seeking an experienced finance professional to be our Director of Treasury.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Treasury to oversee all aspects of our cash management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cash flow, risk management, and cash forecasting to ensure the company's financial health and stability. The Director of Treasury will work closely with other senior Finance team members to achieve the company's goals and objectives.

This position is based in our New York, NY headquarters and will report to the Global CFO. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement financial models with regional and global finance teams to support cash flow forecasting and strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement cash and working capital management policies and procedures to ensure optimal cash flow.
• Manage the company's banking relationships, including establishing a global cash pool and other financial arrangements.
• Manage inter-company and inter-group loans.
• Develop strategies to assess and mitigate foreign exchange risk.
• Work closely with Tax on transfer pricing and repatriation strategies.
• Liaise with parent company to manage insurance programs.
• Monitor global financial markets and economic conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the global management and other stakeholders.
• Build deep relationship with CFOs and FDs across diverse networks and influence decisions.
• Review and oversee the creation of treasury reports and KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis, including regional financials, interest, debt, treasury risks, cash position and net working capital.
• Monitor cash flow positions and related borrowing needs to ensure financial stability and maintain sufficient funds to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
• Ensure timely cash extraction of loans or dividends from regional operating companies to the FGS parent.
• Ensure timely settlement of Interco payables and receivables.

ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in treasury or finance management, preferably in a mid-size global company.
• Experience within a treasury department of an international business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of global financial markets and economic conditions.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (MBA, CFA, or CPA).
