Director of Watchmaking

The role:

• Overseeing service processes for a 10 person department.
• Design and implement performance tracking system
• Coaching and motivating staff to hit production targets
• Ensure Watchmaking Department is appropriately staffed, including managing that recruitment process for watchmakers, technicians, and refinishing team.
• Escalation point for complicated scenarios
• Use expertise and innovative thinking to create the most efficient department in the industry
• Create cross training programs that share knowledge that will ensure continuity in flow from Watchmaker to Watchmaker and from bench to bench. 
• Expanding parts accounts and relationships with the Brands (Currently have Richemont Account)
• Servicing watches when time permits

Requirements: 

• Experience managing a watchmaking department of at least 6 personnel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and multi-task 
• Experience with Rolex, Cartier, Omega or other luxury watch brands 
• Very detail oriented 
• Solid work ethic and self-motivation

Salary range base 150K – 200K + 10% bonus
