Job Purpose

The Director, Open Finance will drive outreach and projects with the wider financial services ecosystem - including financial institutions, fintechs, consumer groups and the press.

MX is a leader in modern connectivity of financial data. The Director, Open Finance will drive outreach to key stakeholders at financial institutions and Fintechs to build a pipeline of API data sharing partnerships.As we enter a new era of open banking, you will be responsible for moving from screen scraping to safer and more reliable ways to get financial data through consumer driven finance.

What you'll get to do:

• Build strong relationships in order to advocate for MX, our customers, and their customers.
• Communicate with senior and C level executives at industry events
• Research and maintain knowledge of clients' business drivers and strategies, competitive position in the marketplace, and industry trends
• Manage the entire process to ensure delivery against performance metrics
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry/professional individuals and organizations
• Execute formal API agreements with Financial Institutions and Fintechs
• Become a subject matter expert in modern connectivity and open finance

• Partner with appropriate internal resources to deliver superior results
• You will be expected to provide thought leadership in our space
• Build and foster long-term client relationships and communicate with executives, key decision-makers, and influencers
• Net new outreach to stakeholders at Financial Institutions and Fintechs

You'll do it using your

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of experience in project and/or relationship management functions with successful demonstrated performance against deliverables for multiple years
• Ability to speak and understand the vernacular during business and finance meetings
• You will need to understand MX values and products
• Must be a great planner: have a plan, work the plan, re-evaluate the plan on an ongoing basis as necessary
• Knowledge of the financial services industry
