Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Director Operations located in Austin TX.

What a typical day looks like:

Responsible for managing day-to-day operations and core functions of operations to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Establish and communicate Business Unit objectives and assignments.
• Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating objectives.
• Master's or MBA degree in Business Management
• 9 years of related experience including management
• Required Traveling 75%
• Meet with Executive Leadership at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI's.
• Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Partner with other leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives.
• Direct and control the activities of leaders in purchasing, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
• Read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
• Respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or styles. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
