Director, Operations 

The Director, Operations will be responsible to provide strategic operational oversight for our Population Health programs. The role will play an integral part in Strive and our partners success related to risk-based programs. The candidate will need to be comfortable interacting externally with physician leaders, executive level partner contacts and internal leaders to drive success.

 

Essential Functions

  • Accountable for overseeing Strive Health new physician partners
  • Work closely with the Strategy and Development teams to ensure that what has been promised can be developed into an operational plan  
  • Develop and frequently update an operational strategy that addresses Strive Care Partner’s growth across multiple new and existing markets  
  • Optimize operational effectiveness ensuring continuous improvement in growth, cost, operations, etc. 
  • Deploy resources efficiently to launch new physician partnerships
  • Ensure smooth transition oversight to the market Operating teams
  • Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions across government VBC programs and Medicare Advantage populations
  • Work closely with Strive Strategy and Development team to understand the unique needs and goals of each partner
  • Lead process design sessions with clinical and operational leadership from physician partner groups
  • Willingness to play general athlete across operational, strategic and clinical projects as needed to drive program success for our patients
  • Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team.
  • Deploy data and research to drive cross-business corporate prioritization.
  • Form and lead internal teams, providing training and mentorship as needed.
  • Manage relationships with key clients’ leaders and clinicians
  • Provide strategic operational oversight and direction for CKCC program
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders to set the strategy and be a true thought partner in carrying out Strive’s mission 
  • Leader cross function projects to integrate CKCC program with overarching Strive Care Partners workplan (ex. transition from FFS to MA)
  • Meet in person with internal and/or external stakeholders to facilitate team and business priorities/opportunities
  • Build out operational models

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • 6-8 years’ experience leading high-performing teams or building high quality provider networks and/or relevant experience
  • 6 years Consulting, Business, Healthcare  or related experience
  • Business travel
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or related field

  • Demonstrated track record of building and mentoring highly collaborative care teams; can attract, develop, and retain A-level talent
  • Strategic vision with the ability to execute
  • Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possesses an understanding of challenges and opportunities in kidney care space, including complexities of CKD and ESRD patient cohorts, regulatory and reimbursement environment, industry and market dynamics
  • Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client interactions
  • C-Suite experience
