Director, Operations
Job Description
At WelbeHealth each participant of our program is guided by our interdisciplinary team (IDT), composed of clinical and non-clinical members who work cohesively to provide all-inclusive care to the most vulnerable senior population. Â Our values and participant focus lead the way no matter what.
The Director of Operations ensures that the program delivers high-quality care to WelbeHealth participants and remains compliant with all applicable State and Federal Regulations. The Director of Operations facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and stakeholders and manages high-functioning leadership team that successfully operationalizes WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor care delivery quality and staff adherence to policies and procedures, regulations, quality improvement plan and lead response to correct any identified concerns.
- Effectively develop and manage the WelbeHealth leadership team.
- In collaboration with finance leadership, develop, maintain, and operate within a program
budget including hiring plans, to achieve operational goals. - Operate WelbeHealth within approved program budget.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State and local regulatory/licensing standards.
- Lead the coordination and preparation for WelbeHealth Board meetings.
- Participate in strategic planning and broader initiatives to refine WelbeHealth operations
best practices to share across other programs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Admin, Public Health, Social Welfare, Gerontology field.
- Master’s Degree plus an additional one years’ experience in a responsible managerial or supervisor position in a social or health services program or agency.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience developing/managing programs for vulnerable seniors.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a health services program, managing a senior care.
