SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Operations Finance Director will be an instrumental part of the site leadership team. A key leader with a focus on driving organizational change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. Identifies industry leading KPIs, partners with Operations leaders to implement best practices, while challenging all aspects of the business to drive tangible improvements in gross margins. The role will report directly to the finance function.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
- Provide financial direction to the site as part of the Site Leadership Team to ensure all resources are leveraged effectively to deliver continuous growth in both revenue and Profitability.
- Drive change across the organization in order to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and Gross Margin accretion year on year.
- Ensure all investments in people, equipment, time and other resources are adequately vetted to deliver adequate return on investment.
- Lead the implementation of new process and KPIs across the organization that drive improvements in the key financial matrix.
- Contribute to financial & business strategy and longer-term profitability goals.
- Lead the annual budget cycle and target setting process. Reporting on plant manufacturing performance
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. ( MBA Preferred)
- Experience operating as a business partner to non-finance functions.
- Experience running a manufacturing or other business an advantage.
- Ability to keenly discern non-value added efforts and think outside of the box.
- Results-focused - understands what is important to senior management and the wider community of employees.
- Ability to lead and drive change across a large organization.
- Strong communication skills, present data in a meaningful way to non-finance groups
- Strong influencing skills with ability to motivate others.
- Operationally astute with strong analytical skills
- Highly motivated and dynamic
