Our Director, Operations Financial Planning and Analysis, reporting to the VP, FP&A and Corporate Development, will lead the financial planning, reporting and analysis supporting Life Fitness' global Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Service organizations. This role will be based out of headquarters in Rosemont, IL, leading a team of 4 employees.
In this role you will be responsible for:

• Managing the financial planning, reporting, analysis and forecasting activities for our facilities and manufacturing leveraged support functions (Supply Chain, Logistics, Sourcing, etc).
• Partnering with the SVP Global Operations and VP Global Supply Chain & Service to execute of monthly and quarterly presentations focused on reporting out the key drivers for manufacturing efficiencies and cost savings, capital expenditures, procurement savings and related expense performance versus prior year, plan and forecast in accordance with company deadlines.
• Working with senior leaders to maintain and continuously evolve KPIs and support schedules to understand and improve operational efficiencies, product mix performance and cost savings.
• Managing strategic cost benefit analysis in support of key investments relating to incremental growth through volume expansion and/or new product offerings. (e.g., IRR, NPV, Payback analysis).
• Identifying to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness through ad hoc analysis and make recommendations to SVP Global Operations, VP Global Supply Chain & Service and Plant managers.
• Leading cross functional teams for ad hoc projects to enhance data availability, tools and analysis aimed at providing improved visibility into various volume and cost drivers
• Leading Cost Accounting to manage manufacturing and procurement related variance data within enterprise wide consolidating financial tools
• Supporting acquisition integrations and other enterprise-wide FP&A activities, as needed

What we're looking for in our Director, Operations FP&A (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 10+ years of progressive related work experience; experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Financial support in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• MBA, CPA, CMA or CFA a plus
• Experience working in a Private Equity environment a plus
• Exposure to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is desired but not required
