Director, Organizational Development
Job Description

As the Director, Organizational Development at our Fort Worth, TX location, you will collaborate with executive leaders, senior leaders and the HR community to craft and deliver organizational initiatives, Alcon's business strategy including org design, change management, team effectiveness, succession planning, executive coaching etc. You will work across multiple talent and organization performance areas including, identifying critical workforce requirements (e.g., skills, competencies, and performance outcomes) necessary to achieve current and future business results, career frameworks, career development. talent assessment, performance management, engagement/Employee research, leadership assessment and development, organization design and culture change, organization transformation and change management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leverage assessment, personal observation & other talent data to develop an in-depth view on key talent & provide coaching to accelerate key talent.
- Partner with ELT & HREC leaders to design, facilitate and monitor the Talent Review process and develop specific plans to address talent gaps & planned moved/succession.
- Work with HREC to design, execute and project manage HR Business initiatives and design interventions to build high performing teams.
- Provide consulting, facilitation and ongoing support to the business to support the continuous improvement of organization design and process improvement to deliver on Alcon's business strategy.
- Facilitate workshops and initiatives through a combination of live and virtual sessions.
- Leverage the OCM curriculum to upskill, coach and mentor project leaders and embed change capability as part of everyday business practice.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- 10 Years of Relevant Experience
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to execution.
- Learning agility to acquire/apply new practices and information in a constantly changing environment.
- Large scale organization change leadership experience. Skilled in consulting leaders.

- Can coach and influence people leaders and teams, using data, trends (internal & external) and perspectives to drive alignment, ownership and improved decision making and actions needed to move Alcon's strategic plan.
