Homes.com (a subsidiary of CoStar Group) is a growing marketplace, reimagining the home search experience for consumers and agents alike. We're building the new Homes.com Network to efficiently connect buyers, sellers, and their agents. This includes giving agents innovative tools for growth and collaborating with their clients, as well as connecting interested buyers directly to the listing agent. 'Your Listing. Your Lead.' is at the heart of everything we do.
CoStar Group is currently looking for a Paid Search Director to join our Atlanta, GA based Homes.com digital marketing team. This exciting opportunity manages a paid search budget that makes significant contributions to the growth of the Homes.com network . This position will be a member of an in-house paid search team optimizing campaigns in Google and Microsoft. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical and a creative problem solver. He/She should be comfortable with the following: working with a large keyword portfolio, keyword research and implementation, marketing terminology, organizing tasks by priority, and finding new and multiple solutions to challenges. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• In this role you will work collaboratively across the organization to achieve objectives and KPIs to increase brand visibility, traffic and conversion rate
• Responsible for developing effective strategies to drive more high-quality web and app traffic
• Lead a team of paid search associates and outside agencies to assess campaign performance, drive insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive business impact through optimization and growth
• Maintain and evolve all aspects of the paid search strategy from planning to reporting on campaigns across search engines and markets to ensure KPIs are met
• Use data to test, optimize and scale paid search programs
• Manage the paid search budget and partner with the insights team to forecast campaign performance
• Utilize test and learn strategies to understand and strengthen reach and conversion
• Responsible for building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships with clients, vendors and agency partners
• Collaborate with functional leaders and the Finance Team to align on budget
• Deliver reports, insights, and forecasts that accurately measures channel performance
• Develop and implement strategies for keyword expansion, ad copy testing and continuous optimization of CPA targets to meet and exceed KPIs
• Leverage your excellent communication skills to share insights and recommendations to a variety of colleagues, stakeholders, and business leaders with both technical and non-technical backgrounds
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
• 6-8 years of experience in paid search engine marketing, experience in a brand and agency setting preferred
• 3+ years building, overseeing and developing a diverse team responsible for paid search, preferred
• Strong understanding of paid search and digital marketing trends
• Expert level knowledge of platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Apple Search
• Experience running UAC and Apple Search ads to drive app install metrics such as Cost-per-Install (CPI)
• Experience managing large paid search budgets and a deep understanding of finance and budgeting
• Experience with web analytical tools (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) and Bid Management tools (Kenshoo, Marin Software, Search Ads 360)
• Familiarity with attribution models, expertise in customer segmentation and the use of test and learn strategies to optimize campaigns
• Ability to analyze, interpret data and use insights to inform marketing campaigns and make recommendations
• Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels, exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on leader who get in the trenches to drive work forward and manage a high output
• Experience working in a highly fast-paced environment, being accountable and learning from mistakes
• Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically
