Director, Pension Client Services

The Director, Pension Client Services leads a team that is vitally important to the new business success of pension risk transfer and DB consulting. It makes sure that we maintain good working relationships with all of our intermediary partners. The team ensures that our marketing materials, proposals, contracts, and certificates meet the needs of the business. The team is also responsible for transitioning all new plans accurately and timely and makes sure the hand-off to IM Operations is smooth and monitors their ongoing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team that has the following responsibilities for pension risk transfer and DB consulting:

• Be the face to the clients and intermediaries as it relates to new business. Build strong relationships with intermediaries to ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities and maintain the new business pipeline report.
• Ensure all written materials (marketing materials, PowerPoints, proposals, contracts, and certificates) are accurate, complete, and have the necessary approvals. Ensure all client documents are properly prepared, executed, and stored.
• After cases are sold, ensure the participants are properly established on the company's recordkeeping systems and their benefit options are properly programmed and tested. Work with the CEC to ensure a good first experience for participants and plans. On completion of the transition, hand off ongoing administration of plans to the operations team.
• Ensure all the pieces of the PRT business are working together. Pay attention to potential service issues and make sure service areas are delivering on their SLAs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• DB Administrative Certification
• Ten years of insurance or pension administration
• Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external contacts
• Strong ability to lead, partner and influence across all leadership levels
• Self-motivated, energetic individual with a strong degree of intellectual curiosity
• Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 07B

This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
