Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive global HR systems and roadmap development experience in partnership with HR stakeholders, Finance and CIO
  • Partner with stakeholders both within the People Team and outside of the People Team to create custom, scaled and repeatable people solutions
  • Analyze, review and implement forward-thinking and industry-leading technologies to enhance employee experiences
  • Leverage tools such as, but not limited to, SuccessFactors, Service Now, Peakon, Beeline, IQN and Glint
  • Manage, mentor and champion a team of HRIS experts
  • Conduct working sessions with users to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements; lead cross-functional People Operations/HR projects for the enhancement of both operational efficiencies and employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, including process design, mapping, improvements, and automation
  • Take Yahoo's data seriously, and hold the team to high standards across security, compliance, and privacy
  • With a focus on customer/user experience, identify automation and process simplification opportunities to enhance and add value to how we work through technology
  • Act as HR lead for SOX compliance matters in partnership with Internal Audit team
  • Establish People Analytics strategy and priorities for the next 3-5 years
  • Manage the relationship with our outsourced vendor for People Analytics
  • In partnership with the vendor, develop client-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations to enable better business decisions
  • Drive adoption of people analytics products and technology across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data quality and consistency

Qualifications
  • Exhaustive understanding of Workday, its capabilities and how the platforms can solve complex people initiatives from a Global perspective
  • Thorough HRIS project management expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of systems selection and implementation processes
  • Analytical and consultative approach to business process analysis
  • Appetite for continuously learning about the latest in AI/ML
  • Deep understanding of change management and training
  • Experience leading a geographically dispersed team with varying levels of expertise and experience
  • Ability to execute with speed, agility and scale while navigating complex considerations such as data privacy, security and compliance
  • Experience managing competing complex priorities and multiple stakeholders

The compensation for this position ranges from $133,875.00 - $263,125.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about.
