Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director, People Technology & Analytics will play a crucial role in driving the strategic vision, operations, and outcomes related to Talkdesk’s People tech stack and People analytics. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of People technology solutions, reporting tools, and analytics initiatives within the organization.

- Responsible for the governance, architecture, maintenance, and maturation of the People tech stack.
- Own the development, implementation, auditing, and configuration of Workday, providing guidance and recommendations for enhancements and module implementations.
- Leverage People system expertise to solve challenging people problems with seamless, easy-to-use technology solutions.
- Lead the selection and implementation of new tools & technology in support of Talkdesk’s People strategy.
- Oversee the design and implementation of self-service processes within Workday in accordance with standard internal controls.
- Drive automation of People processes through technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Develop and maintain robust people analytics frameworks to gather insights related to workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools & dashboards to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision making within People Team and across the organization.
- Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of data from the People systems as the company’s central source of truth.
- Create & manage the People tech stack roadmap, defining prioritization of features, enhancements, and new products based on business value and employee/manager impact.
- Communicate direction & product priorities to the IT development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners.
- Manage day-to-day operations for the tech stack (e.g. request fulfillment, analysis, sprint planning, testing, backlog management).
- Identify and, at times, lead process improvements in areas most impactful to our employees & managers.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR, FedRAMP, etc.)
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of technology & analytics professionals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics or related field
- 9+ years of progressive experience in HR technology, reporting & analytics, data science, and/or product management
- 3+ years of experience leading an HR technology and/or analytics function within the Workday ecosystem
- 3+ years experience designing dashboards and reports in Tableau; High level expertise in data visualization
- Proven experience designing & upscaling Workday solutions including leading a team through successful module implementations
- Expertise in roadmap management including data-based project prioritization
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data security, data privacy, and data protection.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
