This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Pharmacy Accreditation Support in United States.

In this strategic and highly specialized leadership role, you will oversee pharmacy accreditation systems, compliance frameworks, and quality improvement initiatives across a multi-site pharmacy network. The position plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to national accreditation standards while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in pharmacy services. You will act as a subject matter expert on ACHC and URAC requirements, guiding internal and external stakeholders through complex regulatory expectations. Working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will support accreditation readiness, audits, renewals, and corrective action planning. This role combines regulatory expertise, program leadership, and quality strategy to directly impact patient safety and service quality. It offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide standards while working remotely with occasional travel.

Accountabilities:

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of pharmacy accreditation systems, processes, and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to ACHC, URAC, and other regulatory standards; oversee end-to-end accreditation activities including applications, renewals, audit readiness, desk reviews, corrective action plans, and response documentation; design and manage quality improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and operational best practices to optimize pharmacy performance and efficiency; serve as the primary subject matter expert on accreditation standards, providing guidance, training, and consultation to internal and external stakeholders; monitor evolving regulatory and accreditation requirements and translate them into updated policies, procedures, and operational practices; develop tools, templates, and documentation to support consistent compliance execution across teams; lead cross-functional collaboration with clinical, operational, and quality teams to ensure readiness and sustained compliance; conduct mock audits, gap analyses, and risk assessments to identify issues and implement mitigation strategies; participate in quality governance committees and contribute to enterprise-wide reporting and performance tracking; mentor and develop staff while supporting broader organizational initiatives such as residency programs and training activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy with active unrestricted pharmacist licensure; minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmacy operations, quality, or accreditation within healthcare or specialty pharmacy environments; deep knowledge of ACHC and URAC accreditation standards as well as pharmacy regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions; strong understanding of pharmacy operations, specialty medications, and clinical best practices; proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects and multiple priorities in a regulated environment; excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across matrixed organizations; strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with a focus on operational improvement; experience in policy development, compliance monitoring, and audit processes; proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with project and documentation tools; preferred qualifications include residency training, board certification, or advanced degrees such as MHA or MBA.
