This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare operations expert to lead strategic advisory initiatives focused on physician and clinician compensation programs. In this client-facing role, you will partner with healthcare organizations to optimize compensation administration, governance, and workforce management practices while delivering actionable insights and operational guidance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including implementation, analytics, and client services to support healthcare systems navigating complex compensation structures and compliance requirements. The position combines strategic consulting, operational problem-solving, and relationship management within a growing healthcare technology environment. Ideal candidates are experienced professionals with strong expertise in physician enterprise operations, healthcare finance, and compensation governance who thrive in collaborative and fast-paced settings. Accountabilities:

  • Lead client onboarding and discovery engagements to assess physician and clinician compensation models, operational structures, and administrative workflows.
  • Provide expert advisory services related to compensation governance, pay administration, healthcare workforce management, and operational best practices.
  • Develop customized client deliverables including documentation, compensation reference materials, governance frameworks, and operational recommendations.
  • Collaborate with implementation, analytics, and client services teams to ensure seamless delivery of workforce and compensation-related solutions.
  • Support healthcare clients with market intelligence, compensation reporting, workforce analytics, and operational insights.
  • Advise organizations on physician-hospital contractual structures, compensation administration processes, and compliance-related considerations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by tailoring recommendations to diverse organizational structures and strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives, thought leadership efforts, and continuous improvement of service offerings.
  • Translate complex healthcare and compensation data into clear, practical guidance for executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in healthcare administration, business, clinical studies, or a related field.
    • 6+ years of experience in physician compensation, healthcare operations, physician enterprise management, or related advisory roles.
    • Deep practical knowledge of physician compensation administration within healthcare organizations and health systems.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare finance, compensation governance, pay administration, and compliance frameworks.
    • Experience advising healthcare organizations on compensation program design, workforce structures, and operational best practices.
    • Familiarity with physician-hospital contractual arrangements, fair market value (FMV) principles, and governance models.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex operational and financial information.
    • Proven ability to manage client relationships and adapt recommendations to varying organizational needs and healthcare environments.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams in a remote work environment.
