What you will be Doing:
ChargePoint is hiring a Director, Platform Revenue who will be a key contributor in the finance team at a high-energy, growth environment. This individual will be responsible for leading the Company’s Platform revenue (Flex Billing, Roaming, DMS processes) and related functions and must be able to partner with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical and inquisitive with strong attention to detail and should be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that is extremely demanding and deadline driven. They will love getting “hands on,” yet also see the big picture, be able to communicate articulately, possess very good problem-solving skills and be a process-oriented individual who is also flexible and thrives in a demanding setting. This role will manage and mentor members of the Platform Revenue Team in the US, Europe and India and be responsible for developing and growing a world class team as the company continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
- You should be able to motivate direct reports and team members and have a keen sense of how to assess individuals to ensure you are maximizing their potential
- Align people and resources, establishing high standards of performance and creating a climate of mutual accountability that delivers expected business results
- Partner with individuals cross-functionally (PM, Sales, Sales Operations, Legal) to provide guidance and direction
- Update and maintain training material and provide on-going training to direct reports and cross-functional business individuals
- Assist and lead related accounting projects and areas as necessary
- Ability to roll-up your sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity as required
- Challenge existing norms or courses of action, facilitating fully informed decision making
- Evaluate existing end-to-end processes and evaluate opportunities of improvement, automation and refinement to allow for the ability to grow and scale
- Deliver world class service and support to our customers and drivers
Knowledge and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in finance environments, like accounting, billing.
- 6+ years of experience building, scaling and managing teams in a high performance environment
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Exceptional problem solver – uses rigorous logic and methods to solve problems and is excellent at honest analysis
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization
- Great organization skills and ability to manage and prioritize several different activities in parallel
- Proficient in time management and workload efficiency skills
- Experience simplifying complexity and effectively communicating with business and technical executives, as well as external stakeholders
- Must be detail-oriented, work well in a dynamic environment, work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and have excellent organizational skills
- Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
- Strong work ethic with the ability and flexibility to work extended hours during critical periods such as quarter and year-end remittance deadlines
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft business suite, specifically excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
- Highly motivated and results oriented work ethic
- Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $132,500 to $206,750. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
