About the Role

The Director, Portfolio & Solutions Marketing is an expert in the category we serve, bringing insights around industry trends and topics, the competitive landscape and market needs to inform both our technology roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

You play a central role ensuring Envoy is turning up in the market with a differentiated narrative, as well as audience and industry playbooks to drive account engagement, conversion and revenue impact.

This is not a remote position. The ideal candidate will need to be onsite & able to participate in hybrid work.

You will
  • Leading and mentoring a small team of Portfolio & Solutions Marketers
  • Conduct segmentation and account analysis to identify the most impactful customer conversations/strategies, use cases, solutions and plays for new logo and upsell/cross-sell pipeline generation
  • Develop breakthrough, market making narratives and differentiated messaging around business use cases/initiatives, persona’s and vertical industries to inform our GTM strategies
  • Oversee market needs, competitive landscape and translate learnings into actionable response strategies, battle cards and plans for all external facing roles
  • Build and oversee a compelling customer facing content strategy and asset library that resonates at MOFU and BOFU stages in the buyer’s journey 
  • Publish messaging playbooks, pitch decks, enablement assets and train all customer facing teams on successfully driving engagement and conversations around Industries, persona’s and their needs
  • Lead an impactful, innovative launch strategy with supporting pricing/packaging offers,  identifying release market makers and core themes to generate maximum reach and interest
  • Act as an external evangelist and expert with strong POVs supporting speaking engagements, industry analyst briefings, media interviews, community engagement, blog creation and events
  • Measure messaging, playbook and content effectiveness and deliver on KPIs that show your function’s business impact around awareness, pipeline creation and customer wins
You have  
  • 6+ years demonstrated SaaS portfolio/product marketing/solutions marketing experience to mid-market and enterprise segments, verticals and multiple persona’s/buyer groups
  • 2+ years leadership and management experience leading smaller teams with a track record of inspiring them to do their best work
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication and collaboration skills with a track record of successfully interfacing across multiple functions (Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Success)
  • Showcasing past success around segmentation, persona and industry message development, and play based account targeting strategies
  • The ability as a leader to roll your sleeves up and build the foundation while also bringing strategic insights and framework to this function
  • Follows a metrics driven, analytical approach
  • A person who drives to execution, seeks accountability and thrives in a growth environment

Compensation description 

Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $175K-$206K (Annually).  We are hiring for multiple levels and backgrounds, so final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
