Director- Post Transaction Advisor

We are currently looking to hire a Director - Post Transaction Advisor in our Minneapolis, MN office. The Director will work closely with our clients and team members in providing post transaction services. The individual will work with companies on technical, tactical and strategic needs of a business post close of a transaction. They will work with the business on their approach, readiness, key value drivers, as well as understand needs of future performance, and work with CLA service teams to deliver an integrated approach to clients during and after the transition. The individual will lead engagements supported by Principals who will educate, train and promote a great working environment.

CLA continues to grow this practice.

In this role you will:

• Lead and participate in post transaction services engagements

• Oversee post transaction accounting and professionalization of acquired portfolio companies

• Work with clients closely to develop a roadmap for integration

• Identify seamless capabilities from our firm to support integration

• Act as the quarterback to ensure that all services are connected to support a successful integration for our clients

Your experience likely includes:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance required and approximately 10+ years of related work experience.

• Experience working directly with business owners as an advisor of at least 10+ year

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, team members, and transition targets

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

• A strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas

• Ability to travel as necessary
