As the Pricing Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit improvement through innovation and contract growth. We want to leverage your skills and years of experience to drive positive results while ensuring a bright future for yourself and XPO.

What you'll do on a typical day:• Manage a team of pricing analysts and departmental processes to drive increased profitability and customer satisfaction levels• Collaborate with sales team and leadership to deliver revenue and profitability goals; establish and implement strategies and tactical plans at the agreement level• Build effective teams and develop direct reports through coaching, mentoring, recognition and feedback • Ensure understanding of contract and tariff application, audit compliance responsibilities and rule set implementation• Utilize reporting tools provided (PWB, BI, etc.) to monitor progress and develop corrective strategies to achieve company goals • Drive joint learning and development with sales team regarding revenue and profit risks and opportunities• Champion continuous improvement initiatives within pricing and across multiple departments
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:• 7 years of experience with responsibility for customer-level negotiations in sales or pricing• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
It'd be great if you also have:• Bachelor's degree in related field• 2 years of experience managing a team with customer-level responsibility • Experience in pricing and revenue management practices within the travel and transportation industry • Solid organizational and interpersonal skills• Excellent business acumen to understand risks associated with contract negotiations and legal matters • Ability to use computer-generated decision support modeling• Experience in quantitative analysis
