ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton’s Director, Procure to Pay Global Process Owner will assume accountability as the single-point owner for the areas of procure operations and accounts payable activities, as well as travel, entertainment, and other reimbursable expenses (T&E) across geographic and business unit boundaries. This position will partner with key members of the organization, business leaders, Finance, and Technology to drive operational excellence in support of Peloton’s strategic and financial objectives of profitability and cash management.

This position will also be involved in a variety of cross functional projects that have impact to the Finance Operations organization and require project management ability, understanding of operational and financial systems, and solid accounts payable and T&E operational awareness. The position will also be expected to take ownership, identify process improvement opportunities for existing processes and controls, and drive positive change across the organization.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Drive the strategic plan and continuous improvement efforts for procure to pay, encompassing process, tools, and data by:
    • Collaborating across geographies and business units to harmonize process requirements, taking local and statutory requirements into consideration, where required
    • Collaborating with technology resources to consider platforms/tools and system enhancements, recommending solutions to improve integration, controls and streamline processes in accordance with company policies and financial objectives
    • Providing recommendations on organizational structure to facilitate better integration and standardization of processes
    • Enhance reporting in support of monitoring compliance with global and local statutory policies across PTP processes
    • Align key stakeholders (vendors, business unit leaders, management etc.) on the direction of the global process
    • Assess team skills and hire replacements where necessary
  • Play a key role in establishing a business process outsourcer hybrid model for Peloton, assisting with identifying offshored team structure, managing transition of high-volume transactional processes, establishing a governance structure and appropriate controls
  • Design and execute testing strategies and plans for ongoing process and technology change initiatives
  • Provide strong leadership and oversight over processes and team members in a changing environmentĀ 
  • Build strong, collaborative working relationships with outsourcers and external business partners, with a focus on driving efficiencies and improving levels of service
  • Measure and report on key performance metrics, highlighting issues / areas for improvement and developing required action plansĀ 
  • Monitor and report on transactions and processes to ensure effective accounts payable risk management and compliance with company policies
  • Monitor process controls and oversee and testing in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley; Maintain and document relevant policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Help drive stakeholder engagement, organizational change management and communication efforts with impacted business areas for critical transformation initiatives

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • BA/BS or master’s degree in accounting, finance or business required and/or experience in procurement, management consulting/advisory firms-with a focus on finance transformation and shared services
  • Minimum of 10 years of procure to pay process experience
  • Significant knowledge and keen understanding of procurement, accounts payable and T&E transactions and processes including how they are performed, upstream and downstream considerations, and leading practices in these areas to identify and drive process improvements
  • Proven ability to develop outsourcing model for AP function and manage onshore and outsourced hybrid teamĀ 
  • Proven project management skills

Base Salary: $192,200.00Ā  to $249,700.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
