The Director of Product role is a strategic position responsible for overseeing the entire eCommerce tech stack, ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports the evolving needs of our business. This individual will lead the product roadmap, manage vendor relationships, and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement tech solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the eCommerce technology stack, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
  • Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, including quarterly reviews and cross-functional alignment. Drive agile planning as a best practice to ensure the business and consumer needs are delivered on while maximizing the hours during each sprint
  • Develop rubric to determine the prioritization of the roadmap by evaluating effort vs impact. Ensure analysis completed on roadmap initiatives is sound and incremental.
  • Manage all tech vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables, on-time execution, and budget compliance.
  • Support the team in understanding all elements of integration and code across the tech stack
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, including IT, Site Experience, Operations, Customer Service, and Creative, to identify and implement improvements.
  • Build a long-term technology plan that supports the brand's growth, identifying risks and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team by setting clear expectations and providing regular, constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in eCommerce, with a strong understanding of technology infrastructure and product management.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, manage vendor relationships, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Shopify experience preferred, with a broad understanding of eCommerce platforms and tools.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in building and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to adjust strategies based on changing priorities.
