This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Product Development in the United States.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap across a complex, software-driven portfolio. You will lead a Product Development team focused on shaping new offerings and enhancing existing products that deliver meaningful impact for customers and the business. The role requires strong cross-functional influence across engineering, sales, operations, marketing, and finance in a fast-paced and highly visible environment. You will act as a key product evangelist, translating market needs and customer insights into scalable product strategies. A strong blend of technical fluency and business acumen is essential to guide architectural decisions and product direction. This position also involves driving innovation, removing execution barriers, and ensuring delivery excellence across the product lifecycle. It is ideal for a leader who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by building high-impact, customer-focused solutions.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own the strategic direction and execution of product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs. You will lead teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and customer-centric solutions.

  • Define, communicate, and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple product lines
  • Lead product development teams in designing, launching, and enhancing solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Translate market research, customer feedback, and competitive insights into actionable product strategies
  • Build and evaluate business cases including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and ROI modeling
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on technical design decisions and product feasibility
  • Remove operational and organizational blockers to accelerate product delivery and innovation
  • Prioritize features and manage end-to-end product lifecycle activities to meet business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, Operations, QA, and Finance stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop product team members, fostering strong leadership capabilities within the organization
  • Requirements

    This role requires a seasoned product leader with deep experience in product development or product management within software-driven environments, along with strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.

    • 10+ years of experience leading Product Management, Product Development, or Product Engineering teams
    • Proven track record of defining and delivering successful product strategies in complex environments
    • Strong technical understanding with ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
    • Experience building business cases using data, metrics, and market analysis
    • Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence executive-level stakeholders
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
    • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and global team environments
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver complex initiatives on time
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
    • Experience with rapid prototyping, customer discovery, or iterative product development is a plus
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
