Director, Product Integration

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are thrilled to invest in analytical-minded, curious, and technically capable director to help design and deliver our integration strategy of Waystar products to systems like Epic, Meditech, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, and many other solutions. In this role you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities through product integration, developing integration roadmaps with partners, and building and launching new integrations. You will work across our product, product marketing, commercial, and client success teams to drive a connected integration strategy that helps us deliver on our value promise!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Identify and assess market and growth opportunities for integration across the Waystar portfolio, market segments, and partner ecosystem.
- Deliver new integration capabilities that drive product growth and share of wallet.
- Guide a cross-functional team of product, partner, and commercial teams to prioritize efforts and launch high-priority integration for growth.
- Understand and translate technical integration needs, requirements, and architectural strategies. Recommend new product capabilities at each integration opportunity.
- Maintain the Waystar developer portal for technical audiences and Salesforce integration profiles for team members.
- Collaborate with product and performance marketing to translate top growth strategies into measurable marketing plans, and maintain client facing integration collateral and related presentation content.
- Support our commercial teams in client facing opportunities.
- Assist internal teams with technical knowledge base.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's Degree. Technical or quantitative relevant background.
- 5 years of previous experience in technical support, integration, product development, or other product management experience.
- Strong data skill sets - ability to work with and visualize complex data sets.
- Strong presentation skills - ability to build persuasive and clear presentations.
- Ability to understand technical integration frameworks: RestAPIs (JSON), FHIR/HL7, EDI (X12), SOAP/XML, batch, TCP/IP and sFTP protocols.
- Strong ability to quickly understand product features, capabilities, and architecture.
- Strong understanding of Epic, Cerner, Meditech, eCW, NextGen, and other electronic health record ecosystems and capabilities.
- Familiarity with healthcare payments industry and relevant market participants.
- Demonstrated track record of being team-oriented and knowing how to effectively pull a group together and manage results.
- Ability to work independently build, design, implement and measure programs.
- Ability to read technical publications, specifications, and light coding. Proficient in reading or learning EDI specifications or Swagger documentation for RESTful APIs does not bother you - you get energized about the possibilities!

- Prior experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EHR or Practice Management System.
- Comine qualitative and quantitative componentsto create a compelling strategy.
- Revenue Cycle or Healthcare IT experience.
- Prior product management experience or implementation of Revenue Cycle software (Epic as an example).
