Director, Product Line Manager, UCaaS

Role Summary

Mavenir is transforming and modernizing the enterprise business communications with innovative unified communications, contact center, business messaging and monetization capabilities into converged customer engagement and conversational commerce experiences.

The arrival of 5G and Private Networks will open the door to innovative business-oriented use cases that combine high definition audio, video and collaboration with external, interoperable rich business messaging into ultra-low latency, ultra-high quality communication experiences.

Mavenir is looking for a dynamic Product Owner for the Cloud Enterprise BU, to dive the requirements analysis and product development responsibilities related to Mavenir's UCaaS and CCaaS products with a special focus on SaaS deployments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing a product lifecycle, preferably in the domain of UCaaS & CCaaS, understands the communication service provider and channel partner markets, is passionate about the business communications space, and is adept at producing engaging customer presentations.

This position plays an instrumental role in defining the long-term roadmap of Mavenir's UCaaS and CCaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will work alongside OEM Partners, sales, engineering the rest of the product management team to manage the strategic and day-to-day product lifecycle.

This position will be based in Richardson, Texas, however, additional consideration regarding actual work location can be given to outstanding candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with OEM vendors and Mavenir R&D to drive a competitive UCaaS solution
• Collaborate with Channel Partners and users to determine their needs and priorities
• Lead the Bid responses to Customer RFx and Presentations to the Senior Executives at
• Drive the Pricing and Positioning Strategy
• Working with the technical and sales teams to help answer their questions and make product decisions
• Break down the high-level features and business requirements into more detailed features and influence the roadmaps of the OEM vendors
• Ability to make independent decisions and takes action to help achieve the product goals
• Be the subject matter expert for the sales teams, and the go-to person for product decisions

• Engage in day-to-day activities with the Product development and operations teams

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the telecom domain - experience in a UCaaS solutions and experience in Contact Center and CPaaS products is a must.
• Understanding of the telecommunications landscape, specifically Enterprise Business Communications, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
• Degree in engineering or IT domain is required. MBA is a plus
• Experience working with product management, engineering, and OEM Vendors to design and develop technology
• Experience and desire to work in a global development and delivery environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deliverable deadlines
• Great communicator and presenter; presenting the solution to customers for RFP / RFQ
• Solid track record with references showing traits in-line with the above requirements
• Innovative "out-of-box" thinker with "can-do" attitude
• A team player with the confidence to challenge & escalate when necessary
• Proven problem-solving ability with complex, technical, and abstract concepts
