Acquia is seeking a Director Product Management with the experience and drive to ensure Acquia’s award-winning platform Drupal Cloud exceeds the needs of customers who are passionate about Digital experiences. You have experience working in an enterprise organization and you have been exposed to digital experiences ecommerce infrastructure / hosting tools and services saas or paas platforms.

Expectations of the role

Acquia's product organization is seeking a Director of Product Management to handle and grow our $100M+ Cloud portfolio. This individual will be responsible for developing product strategy across a rolling six to eighteen month time frame defining the approach handling the financial growth and ensuring we are constantly passionate about solving our customer’s and partner’s hairiest challenges. You will meet with customers and our partners regularly to inform and validate our product strategy and roadmap. You will also lead and partner closely with internal teams to execute against our product strategy ensuring we are prioritizing capabilities that will deliver the most value to our customers.

This position will be reporting directly to the VP of Product Management and will have the opportunity to present your strategy directly to executive leadership articulating product strategy and defending product growth expectations. They will work alongside Product Marketing to develop a go-to-market and expansion strategy. Let’s build something great together!

You will gain a deep understanding of the business landscape and be able to make sound decisions based on this understanding. You should be able to articulate the platform’s value proposition clearly and convincingly driving buy-in from stakeholders across the organization. Further you will need to navigate the complexities of business models that Acquia’s platform enables.

What you will bring

• 7+ years of product management experience managing software products from inception through launch and iteration

• 5+ years experience building mentoring and leading a team of Product Managers and delivering business results

• Experience in high scale enterprise software / technology businesses is required SaaS or PaaS

• Experience with Cloud technologies web content management distributed systems and the latest trends in digital experience management

• product that are revenue sensitive

• Experience in writing business cases and crafting pricing strategies / models

• Experience in high growth environments particularly in PaaS and with areas of the Ability to prioritize while balancing complex technical and business requirements

• Strong track record of product leadership and end to end ownership from definition to launch including product optimization and experimentation with experience in SaaS eCommerce or platform/internal tools

• Outstanding verbal written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with audiences ranging from developer to executive

• Passion to improve processes increase velocity and promote empathetic collaborative relationships a requirement

How you will lead

• Set a bold product vision strategy success metrics and roadmap for execution

• Build mentor and lead a team of Product Managers across Acquia Drupal Cloud portfolio

• Internalize and deeply understand Acquia growth strategy and align your team's mission and roadmap with this direction

• Defining the strategy for enterprise business intelligence tools processes and capabilities for Drupal Cloud

• Leveraging Acquia and Drupal Cloud data to drive a step change in how we evolve the use of data to make decisions.

• Work cross-functionally with various teams such as engineering design platform PM product PMs etc

• Partnering with our customer facing team to gather feedback on existing tools and help pilot new tools and capabilities

• You will help to define and execute our Drupal Cloud platform strategies and enable revenue-bearing product delivery teams while partnering with various internal and external stakeholders throughout Acquia

• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills with engineering architecture teams and business stakeholders

• Inspire and lead your team and others to execute and deliver your vision and solutions to solve our customers’ biggest problems

• Ruthlessly prioritize your team’s backlog to ensure your team is making maximum impact

Extra credit if you have...

• Experience with platform businesses infrastructure hosting technologies a plus
