Director - Product Management

Equifax is seeking an experienced Product Manager who has a desire to work on a winning team dedicated to providing customers with risk based solutions including analytic dashboards. Lead the overall performance of the product, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset.

Creates product roadmap and identifies delivery channels, direction of product and product development needs. Influencing and collaborating with others in cross functional teams (D&A, technology, sales, fulfillment, product marketing, finance, legal) to define product requirements ultimately bringing products to market. The successful candidate will be experienced, self driven and motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and have a good understanding of risk analytics.

What you'll do

• Be the product evangelist and own overall product lifecycle including: market understanding through to development and launch with a strong focus on go-to-market strategy and support (to include development of commercial model, packaging, distribution and commercial viability)
• Perform market sizing and segmentation to drive high potential opportunities, manage market feedback efforts to drive product direction and innovation
• Strong understanding of analytical use cases like acquisition, account management, marketing, model development, benchmarking, etc.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of customer needs through market and industry research and analysis including competitive analysis and market validation through review and testing of concepts with existing and prospective customers (voice of customer, customer advisory boards, etc.)
• Deep understanding of visualization and analytic dashboards. Design new solutions for different verticals and optimize time to market
• Drive product engagement and satisfaction - define key performance indicators and manage the product's performance including attainment of revenue and margin objectives, product adoption and usage and engage in the collection of customer feedback
• Establish the product strategy and resource planning, articulate the vision and ensure its alignment with strategy and goals
• Leverages technical knowledge of products to ensure customer needs are defined, met and anticipated across the product lifecycle including: Development, Delivery channels, customer implementations, customer support, product enhancements
• Interact with key decision-makers within their own function and across related functions to successfully navigate Equifax' organization, involving others across the organization as needed.
• Support projects and initiatives to deploy new functionality and/or enhance existing functionality
• Document, refine, and prioritize business requirements and align to the overall product goal

What experience you need (7 or less requirements recommended)

• 7-10 years experience working in product management, consulting, or technical delivery
• 5+ years of experience working with data, analytics, and/or data analytics platforms
• BS or MS degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Analytics, Technology or related field

• Experience creating business cases for new product concepts, aligning product roadmap to product strategy across the Product Delivery Value Stream and pitching concepts to all levels of the business
• Sophisticated critical thinking skills, leading others to solve complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
• Understanding of market segments as well as market data trends relative to the products to drive product performance and competitive differentiation. Understands, tracks, distributes cross functional team critical product data for decision making: Customer usage and satisfaction, product operational metrics, competitive standing relative to other alternative solutions.
• Strong knowledge of competitive landscape to anticipate, articulating and driving high-potential opportunities that demonstrate competitive advantage
